Quantum principal, Dan Fenton served as project manager for the structural design of a seven-story student complex to provide student meeting rooms, a lounge, and cafeteria. The facility ties together five existing structures and is built into a steep hillside with entries at the first and fifth floors. The lower five levels are cast-in-place concrete construction and the upper levels are steel-framed construction. The Viking Union Building houses an environmental center, student centers, student radio station, legal information center, faculty and director offices, and food vendors. *Dan performed this project while employed with another firm.
