The Olympic Building
Seattle, WA | Owner: Contractor: EthanConstruction | Completion Date:
Quantum Consulting Engineers provided structural design for the renovation and seismic upgrade of a 1940’s unreinforced masonry, four-story in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The seismic upgrade consisted of steel braced frames on the east and west side of the building, reinforced floor diaphragms and foundation work. Care was taken during the design to maximize floor space and minimize visual impacts of the new structural braces.
